I had a lot of problems (blue screens, etc.), really struggling, trying to get win 10 running since the update from win 7 more than a month ago. All was working fine on win 7 but win 10 was hell. Even did a clean install of win 10 but no cure. Tried driver booster, tried everyting I know of and picked up on the various forums. Took me a long time to trace the lock ups back to the wifi driver. Then last night i downed from somewhere (probably atheros cz) driver 10.0.0.313 (5/3/2015) for the wifi card. Deleted the drivers in use and reisntalled 10.0.0.313. All works fine now. Would like to share this info beacause I had my share of troubles with the win 10 atheros AR 9258 combo.. Today I foud a even newer driver 10.0.0318 (27/05/2015) but all works fine on 10.0.0313 driver so did not test 10.0.0318. will keep this driver for future test. Google on driver atheros 10.0.0313 and you will find it.. good luck.

  • Hi,

Great to get some help. I am a far from a specialist so I will ask a lot of basic question. My SNID number is 70307049234. There are two Atheros products but none of them have the same identity. Wireless LAN Driver (NFA435 HAI) and Wireless LAN Driver (NFA335 HAI). Which one should I download? The problem I have is that I don't get any Internet access. My Wi-Fi lacks a valid IP-configuration. I have tested all the basic recommendations by Microsoft and now I am at the very bottom of the list.

    Best Regards

  • Hi,

I managed to download and start up the computer but nothing happened to my Internet connection. I got an advice to update my Windows 10 version from another guy but I don't want to do that by myself. Do you have any other idea?

    Best regards

What happens when you try to connect to wifi network?
Do you get any error messages?
Is any other device with connect to the same router and working fine?
Try to disable any firewall or antivirus and check the Wi-Fi issue.
In the search box on the taskbar, type Network troubleshooter, and then select Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If that doesn’t fix your connection problem, try the below mentioned steps:
Press windows key + R keys to load the Run dialog box. Type ncpa.cpl and press Enter. Right click on the Wireless network (Wi-Fi) connection and select Enable. If you see the Disable option available, then your card is already enabled, but you can give a try to Disable and re-Enable it.
    >>Make sure that Wi-Fi is ON and Airplane Mode is OFF.
Click the Start menu image and click Settings. Open Network and Internet. Select the Airplane Mode on the left and ensure that: Airplane Mode is OFF. Wi-Fi is On.

  • Hi,
Thanks for your help but nothing easy seems to work out. So I will take my computer and go to a repair shop rather than doing anything wrong.
So all the best and hopefully my next problem is a little bit easier to fix.
    Best Regards

  • I had strange behaviour with this card/combo.. I needed to run (in Administrator Command Prompt) sfc /scannow
I was using Windows 7 on a Kaby Lake laptop, so my own fault really.. after System File Checker found and replaced some system files, I was able to connect to my WiFi hotspot !!!

  • I ran into this thread while searching for a more recent QCA9377 driver for a Windows 10 Acer laptop, and it seems that the correct solution hasn't been posted yet, so I thought I'd post here in case anyone else has the same issue. Microsoft distributes a much more recent driver for this network adapter over Windows Update. To get it, just follow these steps:
    1. If you're searching for a more recent driver for your wireless networkadapter, I assume your wireless connection is unreliable. Use the wirednetwork port on your PC to connect directly to your home router with an Ethernet cable, ensuring a stable network connection during this process.
    2. Ensure that you're running the latest version of Windows 10 by going to system settings -> 'Update & Security' -> 'Windows Update' and clicking the button labeled 'Check for updates'.
    3. Right-click the Start Menu icon on your taskbar and choose 'Device Manager'. Click yes at the User Account Control window.
    4. When Device Manager appears, click the arrow next to 'Network adapters' to expand that section.
    5. Right-click the entry for your Qualcomm network adapter and choose 'Update driver.'
    6. Choose 'Search automatically for updated driver software'.
    7. Windows should then automatically find and install the latest driver for your wireless network adapter. When this is finished, restart your computer.
